    greenhouse performance?

The performance of a greenhouse is determined by the design of the greenhouse. Something as simple as the south facing roof can affect how much solar energy (heat) your greenhouse will produce. For me in N.E. OH and at a latitude of 40.798946 my southern facing roof needs to 60° to receive the...

What do you feed your layers?

To be honest his formula didn't work on my first feed ration either. His formula stated that 75 lb of a 17% layer and 25 lb of a 28% game bird feed was 20.67% when it is actually 19.75. It was off by .92%.

What do you feed your layers?

But your percentage isn't exact. Your percentage is around .91% off and could add up (as below) when you add more ingredients. Example -- If we use, layer 17% - 74 lb corn 8.8% - 1 lb game bird 28% - 25 lbs Your math gives a 17.93% It's actually 19.66% A 1.73 difference.

That mix will get me a little over 19% feed. In the winter months, I bump the gamebird some to increase the...

    Organic non gmo feed

Disclaimer -- I am not 100% Organic but I am 100% Non-GMO. I've used Kalmbach feeds for probably 16/18 years now and switched to their Non-Gmo and Organic Feeds about 8 years ago with no regrets. If you're looking for a good Organic feed, go with Kalmbach.

Hi, hubby asked me what this chicken is. I'm like, "I dunno; but I know where to go". What do you think she is, please?

Breeder Quality, Show Quality which are bred to a breed standard. Hatcheries don't really breed to a standard, so you end up with incorrect colors, patterns, body types and overall smaller body size.

He's not a Rhode Island Red (R.I.R). At best he's a Production Red (PR) which is a R.I.R cross, most likely with a leghorn.
