18 week cockerel in need of a good home. He is a great boy, we just cannot have roosters in my township. I am in Croydon, 20 minutes north of Philadelphia. I am willing to drive a little bit if need be. Please contact me if you interested.

I just got this metal run put up a week ago. I had the little ones in the little house behind the metal run and the older 3 hens had all the land around it. They have been out there in the same yard for a month now so I think they are pretty used to each other. There is a cockerel which I wonder...

That's what I thought... not happy about it because I'm going to have to get rid of him. I believe he is a Baby blue easter egger? He is about 14 weeks old. If anyone is near Croydon, PA and wants him... let me know. Thank you all for your help confirming my suspicions.

Can anyone tell me if this is a rooster or a hen? It seems to be acting protective of the girls and the comb is much more red than the other pullets. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure if my year old hen has always looked like this or not... She is the elusive one who I can never get too close to... Very hard to catch! She is broody right now so I was able to get a good look at her. Is the black on the waddle and comb normal? Thank you in advance for your help!

I just integrated 8 about 14 -18 week pullets with my 3 maybe a year old hens yesterday afternoon. It seems 2 of the older hens are scaring the new girls into not coming out of the hen house into the yard. I have food and water in the house for them so they should be ok. It is 90 degrees outside...

Thank you all... I'm makes me feel much better knowing her beak is ok. She hangs out by herself a lot so I will try to get her some others like her.

I guess both the shape and scab. If the shape is ok, then I guess the scab isn't a big deal. It just looks like her nostrils are messed up with that big weird white hump , but I'm a chicken newbie and she is my only polish tophat so I just want to make sure her beak isn't like cracking at the...

Is there anything I can do for her? Is she going to be ok? I don't want her to be in pain.

That makes me feel better...It looks strange and she is getting bullied so I was afraid she was hurt or something.
