    I want to keep peace with the neighbors, so have decided to give up our roo. His name is Blue, and is about a year old. Loving family only please. He is great with the 4 hens he currently lives with.

    Definately go with layer. Maybe get a bag of crumble layer, then decide next time if you want to stick with crumbles or go with pellets.

    I'm near Dallas. I'll try to get a photo later tonight. Techniquely he is my daughter's, so I need to find out from her what price. Silkie was one she really wanted, so she's sad it ended up a roo. Will post tonight.

    about 22 weeks old. sweet shy guy. very cute. we got a bunch of chicks from mcmurray in the spring. silkies were not guaranteed as pullets, and our white one ended up being a roo. hubby said no roos, so I need to find a new home for him ( the roo ).
