Why did you get your first chickens?
To teach my 4 kids a little responsibility and the pure enjoyment of the birds. It's gone well so far (2 months into it). We have 15 various hens from an auction, 3 RIR chicks we hatched out 2 weeks ago and 35 assorted eggs in the incubator due March 9th. It's very good for the family as a whole...- crustyworms
