The babies have been in there own pin my husband built but they have outgrown it. All of the chickens have been able to see but not touch each other for the last 2 weeks or so. Maybe they are just used to each other? lol. I'm clearly new at this.
So I came home from football practice tonight and went in to check water levels and food because I have 9 hungry babies about 4-7 weeks of age... I also have 4 3 month old pullets and cockerels (2of each)
Wouldn't you know it my sneaky chickens broke into the coop and I found them roosting...

I have a question! I just found out I have 5 cockerels and two pullets :( where in south Florida would I sell or give these babies away? I love them but this is my first flock (they are 8 weeks old) and I have been advised heavily that my pullets will be in danger :(
Oh no!! This makes me nervous!! I also have 4 baby chicks that I bought and they are supposed to be hens... Maybe I should get more! :)) I'm always up for more babies!!
These are the best I could get of Cookie
We also acquired this one today... She (fingers crossed) was from the same hatching. Her other siblings and her were out free ranging and the other two were eaten by the neighbors dog!! So sad!!
