I'm not seeing very much improvement. I'm not sure if this is a deficiency or if it's Marek's. How long would it be before I see improvement if it's a vitamin deficiency?
She has pecked at her food a little and I got her to eat an egg yolk, so she's eaten a tiny bit today (and a tiny bit to drink too)..keeping my fingers crossed. Now, if I can just figure out the B-gel (like in the picture) or a crushed b-complex in something..... Just not sure I can get her to...
Okay, stopping the selenium. I made a chicken sling today and hoping that by placing her by the window it will help her. I'm adding a picture of that along with the vitamin b I've been giving her. Someone told me just a small pea size is good. It looks like (from the back of the tube) it is B-1...
Poop is now runny, crop is emptying. Not eating well. I have tried scrambled egg (no longer interested it that) and I tried egg yolk yesterday (not really interested). I have been giving vitamin b, selenium and poultry cell (1 ml) twice a day. I did see her eating this morning, so I'm hoping...
I'm not sure that the signs really show this. She was fine one day and then kinda leaning to one side. No ruffled feathers, no bloody poop, no pale comb. Her issue is basically she's now unable to stand, and will fall over.
Sadly, my chick seems to no longer be eating (even scrambled egg) or drinking. I'm trying to figure out what to do now. I don't want to have her endure something if she can't recover, but I also don't want to give up on her.
2 days ago I noticed that one of the chicks that hatched here at the house was kinda losing it's balance and and then laying down. I separated her and brought her up to the house. Gave her food and water. I watered down some of her crumbles and added some Nutridrench to it and added electrolytes...
