    Polish Hens crown feathers being plucked by other hens

    Since my hens have had to be cooped up more, Lola, my silverlaced polish hen has had the crown feathers plucked out by another hen in the coop..... I have used pick no more, but need some other suggestions please!!!

    Broody Bantam Cochin - How long?

    I am dealing with the same thing with my little cochin, Squirt, been almost a week now, guess i will have to get a broody box ready!!!! I had been closing the coop door so she couldnt go inside, but now I have other hens starting to lay and cant do that......i pick her up out of box, in morning...

    Young Cochin Bantam laying issue

    Ok, so a hen can be broody with NO eggs to lay on???? She hasnt laid an egg for 4 days now, usually giving me one every other day.....she lays in the nest, unless i pick her up and put her out, she drinks, eats, defecates, acts fine.........then I catch her nesting again.......
