    What are the best chickens to start out with?

    Definitely Buff Opringtons! They were our first and since then we got some Red Sex Links and they are nothing compared to our Buffs! The Buff girls are so sweet and have they best personalities. Great with kids and the whole family. We love them!

    6mth old Leghorn rooster in need of new home

    We hatched 6 eggs in the spring and one of the two chicks( that survived a fox attached ) tha t we thought was a rooster started crowing the other day. In our county we can have hens but no roosters. So I have a 6mth old Leghorn roo that I would love for him to get a good home that he can crow...
