  1. I discovered my chicken was egg bound, once I opened her up lots of fluid poured out. And she had what looked like tumors or nodules all along her intestines. They look like round light beige\white cottage cheese curds. I cut open open, It was a capsule with white center. The vet does not know what they are and a sample can be sent to a lab to find out. Has any one else seen this or know what they are? I'll try and add pictures.

    We are up in Salmon. Thanks for you reply. We are still looking. Ebay has some ideas, but not many to keep waters from freezing.

    I am back with raising chickens. Raised them for years in So Cal 20 some years ago. We are building a nice insulated coop. Need advise on keeping water from freezing in winter. Looking forward to this forum. Thanks
