    Chicken with worms on poop

@Wyorp Rock - can the Fenbendazole be put in their water instead of being administered orally per bird?

    Lilac blooms in coop

Good morning all, I cannot find anything specific on this. Our lilac bush is in full bloom, can I hang the blooms in the coop? I use other fresh and dried herbs and plants that I am confident are safe. Thank you in advance.

Apps or programs to assist in coop design?

I am struggling with the same issue. I tried PowerPoint but it's not giving me the results I am seeking. Sketch Up is not intuitive for me.

How 'extra' do I have to be?

May I inquire as to why you bring your phone into the coop?

I use colored flood lights in the coop to produce heat. I have had my hens since they were a week old and they have always had a light on them - they don't know what it is like to sleep or live in the dark. hehe

I personally prefer duck eggs for eating but I refuse to keep them.

We installed a set of flood lights for extra light & heat in their run. They are out of their coop from 6am until 7p or 8p.

We have four hens that just turned 29 weeks. Some days we get 2 eggs & some we get 4. We are noticing that one hen is laying extremely small eggs. We call them fun size eggs. hehe

I get mine at Meriden Feed and Supply. I would guess Tractor Supply should sell them as well. If you have a stable nearby, ask them if they would sell you a bale.
