    They are the purest blooded, most intelligent chicken that i have owned. Friendly to their caregiver human but willing to die fighting other birds. I keep mine in breeding pairs or single. Great broody hens and very protective of their chicks.

    I use sardines. Put a couple on the trigger tray and pour a little of the oil on nearby trees. Good for possum or coons

    Not very useful if overpopulated. I trap and kill more of these than any predator. Coyotes and foxes dont like my electric fence. Minks dont like the motion lights. Coons seem to have enough food natural to leave my chickens alone. Occasional owl or hawk
