Pre Chicken Era (til 2018): not a fan of feathered dinosaur descendents

Current Chicken Era: chickens are fascinating, therapeutic, fun, and loving creatures, providing endless adventure, whimsy and opportunity to learn. I'm addicted! My kids are addicted! We might officially be bird people. From two bantam hens (red wyandott, welsumer (rip)) in the summer of '18, I've progressed onto 2 araucaner, a marans (rip), a sperber (maybe) rooster, sperber hen incubating/hatching 3 backyard eggs (chick gender yet unknown), and ducklings (might be two drakes)! ...and now byc!

I've been reading the articles and posts for over 2 years and find the advice and feedback rather diverse and super helpful. Frantic vsits to byc have saved me and my flock a few times! I'm Hoping to share some of the avian chaos I enjoy daily in a feather friendly and fun environment! :-)
