Mine are being delivered today! Can't wait :)
This brand new sex-link chicken will amaze you with it's blue and lavender colored plumage. This Czech breed is an excellent egg layer and great forager. It does well in hot climates and is a breed very close to the Old Andalusians. This bird is a...
Hi LMW's,
I just received 5000 from Rainbow. Couldn't be happier. I'm using my garage and it's a bit cold so I have a heat lamp that I have pointed towards a 30 gal tank and a 3 drawer set-up.
I'm able to get the temp up to 80 degrees. Do you think this is ok? Should I be concerned about the...
Hi and thank you. I found rainbow mealworms "chicken sampler" and wanted to know if I could raise these different types of worms in the same drawers:

1000 Large Mealworms (1")
1000 Small Mealworms (0.5")
250 Waxworms (0.75")
250 Superworms (1.75"

Perhaps someone could shine a light?
I'm going to build a coop, have a run connected to it and also have a big yard that I plan on letting them...
Thanks again everyone for taking the time. I was able to contact the store and found out that the birds in the pic are NOT for sale.
They are breeder hens and that's where I left it. So now I have 3 months to learn all about coops and chickens before we move into our new home. Keeping my eye out...
Thank you for the reply. I think I'll call the shop and ask the question because these were all caged hens, there was one very old rooster with one bad leg that ran (hobbled) free... I'm pretty sure these were all for sale so I find it strange that they would have them there just for laying...
I went to my local farm & feed and was looking over their stock of chickens because I'm going to be purchasing my first few very soon. I came across this balding on many of their older chickens. No help was available at the store so I wanted to ask here. Is it just that they are too young and...
