Hi guys, unfortunately we lost 2 of our 3 to heatstroke. I've added ventilation to the coop and nest box and we are doing everything we can to keep our last lady going. I want to get her a new flock asap so if anyone has or knows a place in Oklahoma that has pullets or hens that be introduced...
They have an Ecoglow heat plate in the brooder, but don't really spend much time under it anymore. I'll shut it off and let them get used to no heat in the brooder over the weekend. Thank you!
Our ladies are almost 6 weeks. The weather is finally getting nice enough that the coolest it will be in the upcoming weeks is in the low-mid 50s. Do they look ready to move to the outside coop? There is no extra heat in the coop.
