Unreal is right. The negative reviews are spot on.

My experience with Justin was terrible. I ordered Swedish flower hens and received a box of barnyard mutts. I’ve raised SFH before and I definitely know the difference. He will lie to you and send you junk birds. Cute but most definitely NOT what I paid for.

Yes, he is. I agree that his back does appear to slope downward in this photo but in real life it looks more level than this. His tail has filled in some since these photos were taken. Filled out a bit too.

Thank you for posting this here. I'm really glad that I wasn't the only person crying over the loss of someone I'd never met and I'm not ashamed to admit it. He gave so much. I hope to be able to breed up to his standards!

The first two photos are of the oldest bird. I like him and his barring seems to be darkening a bit as he matures. I realize he isn't perfect but there is a lot about him that's good too. He seems to get wider between the legs every time I look at him and he has a regal presence. Everyone that...

Fred and Aoxa, the photos of the birds you posted were very helpful. I love the look of that pullet. Funny my eye went to the same cockerel. Bet he'll be stunning once grown. The issue of a partnership has been on my mind too. Just have no idea who! Fred, is it possible that one of the two...

    Bob Blosl is gone

What a sad day. I too looked forward to each post and learned so much from him. Mr. Blosl was an inspiration in many ways. My sincerest condolences to his family.

That's what I was thinking too. Different individuals selecting for perhaps slightly different traits.. The two groups strike me as fairly unique to each other. It will be interesting to see them side by side as adults. I chose eggs and chicks over started birds mostly because I wanted to have...
