The egg on the right is the weirdest one yet. Our girls took an extended laying break this winter and this was one of the first brown eggs we got. Looks painful. ;0(

We have an Eglu coop with a wire run and skirt. There is also a second run outside of that, although it is not electrified. So far, the only critters I’ve seen out there are squirrels and song birds.

We have an Eglu chicken coop. It has an enclosed run and an attached moveable fence. We also free range the chooks during the day.

We are in Pumpkin Center, NC, about an hour from Charlotte.
