    I have 9 eggs in and one hatched this time yesterday. I do not see any piping on the other 8 eggs and no sign that naything is going on. I have two questions 1) has anybody had one egg hatch on time and the others take more than a day to hatch? 2) when should I remove the first chick?

    I would use a straw to get water on the sponges through the vent to get the humidity up . If that does not help it is your choice to help the chick or not.
