    hi! i have two silkie chicks that i'm raising, and i'm wondering when to start feeding them mealworms? they're four weeks old today, and i've tried introducing mealworms to them twice now, but they don't seem to...want them? one at least pecked at a mealworm but didnt show any interest past...

    i taped them flat with a bandaid! hopefully this works. she's having a little trouble walking but i think she'll get used to it quickly i am using the sav-a-chick packets like someone else mentioned but if necessary i'll buy more supplements

    i took her to the vet today just in case and they said i should try physical therapy for a week to straighten out her toes! they also said if its not fixed after that we might have to talk about amputating the toes :^( but im going to try the cardboard boot method and see if it helps! no...

    UPDATE: i think i see that she has malformed feet??? :^( maybe that's why she's all wobbly...is she going to be okay? should i take her to the vet? she's drinking but still not eating...

    so i hatched two silkies yesterday and one seems to be doing fine (she's running out from under the heating plate and eating/drinking occasionally and she can walk just fine) but the other one is starting to make me a little nervous; she can walk, but she's wobbly, and she's a little smaller...
