    Hi, our chicken's problem turned out not to be gapeworm. It was probably something stuck in her crop as mentioned. We followed the suggestion of massaging the throat/crop with a bit of olive oil, which helped after about the third time. Good luck

    Bummer! Not pullets or even buff orpingtons. Won't be buying from that place again. Is there any reputable online hatchery? Thanks Guys very much for your input and if anyone else has a cockerel/pullet opinion about these 2 please still chime in! The chicken swap is tomorrow morning. :(

    So the consensus is the 2 are cockerels. Can one definitely tell at this age? Just want to be sure because there is a chicken swap tomorrow that I might try to see if anyone wants 2 cockerels. We'll be sad to let them go!
