    some people make cutouts in the rafters to put the purlins into, others just place it on top. does it matter? is the plywood good wither way?

    hi all working on my chicken run! coop from TSC is already setup and working as expected with my 4 chickens. working on the run now.

    should the roof order go rafters, purlin, plywood, moisture barrier, then metal roof? I see so many different ways and people say some things are not needed. such as if i put plywood directly to the rafters is the purlin needed?
