Oh good to know! I was just telling my husband last night I was worried it had some skin damage or something because the chest is so naked still and all the other chicks are like fully feathered out!
Can anyone help me figure out this breed of my chick? It was a “mystery” chicken from murray mcmurray for ordering over 15 chicks! Our best guess is some kind of brahma because it has feathered legs. I just cant seem to find photos of its crazy colors. Google image search says its a pigeon 😂
Heres some updated photos! Her left wing is looking much better but Im still questioning the right side. The feathers are definitely coming in quick and hard so not sure if that is now starting to spiral or just the feathers stacking and pushing through.
Okay! Their food has the suggested protein and niacin in it but she does also get a niacin supplement because shes had some leg issues. They get a swim session daily and run around with each other constantly as ducks do lol! I will keep an eye on it for now I just wasn't sure if it was normal...

I have 4 week old ducks two runners and two cayugas. One of my runners who is the runt of the group seems to be having leg issues. Shes become wobbly and tends to lay down instead of run around with her sisters and I feel like its making her eat less and not wash her nostrils properly. Shes on a...
