I'm about to renovate a container. I know this thread is 2017 but, still relevant :)
In addition to venting I'm adding foam board to help with the heat and extreme cold. Normal Fiberglass insulation won't wonk with the containers with the moisture. I'm just building walls with 2x3, foam board...

I’m starting off with 15-30 (depending how many hatch from the lady were getting them from). That’s good to know about the eggs, I’m used to the chickens and having to scrub the eggs.
Ultimately I’d like to raise some for meat and sell to people and restaurants in my area.
