    You may try setting it on low. I tried high setting my first time too at around the same temp and they didn't like that. I set it on low and they're all fine after that. Just keep an eye on them and see how they react.

    I've been following this thread for a while and have finally made my first MHP. This is also my first time raising chickens as well so next few months will be interesting. The first batch of chicks arrived today and they have been taken to the MHP excellently. It's really fun watching them...
