One of my favorite chickens!!!!! He's got hard (like on the body) feathers all the way down his legs & fuzzy ones to a couple inches past his toes!! He was a product of a broody hen from our 'free ranging' flock, so who knows what he could be . . . . . besides my lil buddy who's always the first in line for their scrap goodies when I call =) He's a loner tho, its weird, but he'd rather hang by himself than any of the flock, & he's higher up on the pecking order (well with this yrs spring babys & even some of the older ones lol)

This young lady was suppose to be a Black Copper Maran, & even though its frustrating to not get what u paid for, she is a sweet & beautiful chicky! She's got those big ol white ear lobes, but is laying cute little white eggs =) she just started laying a cpl wks ago. Anybody hv any ideas on what her breed really is? On the Facebook page, someone said maybe a brown leghorn ?? Happy day to you all!
