Thank you all for your input I wasn't 100% for sure which way to go.

Should I leave our rooster with our hens or separate him till we are ready to breed hens? If we leave him with hens will hens be more broody?

We got an assortment of brown egg layers wyandoettes to Rhode island reds they will be chicks and kept in brooder depends time of year we r in Oklahoma

Waiting for chick to come in. Will he here the end of May. Still have to buy feeders waterers etc. Glad to be here and learn everything we can.
