    Is my Easter Egger a Roo?

    He/she is 8 weeks old and is either a Super Blue Egger or a Snowy Easter Egger purchased from mypetchicken.com. I’m not sure if I see saddle feathers yet, but that’s a pretty big comb. Thanks in advance!

    I would love a wheaten hen. After looking thru this forum and scouring the internet, I don't see a lot of info on Ko Shamo really, so I have just a couple questions: 1. Are the hens aggressive? I know the roos are. If I need to house this Ko Shamo hen in a large pen with other chickens...

    I would like to purchase 1 hen as a companion for my Polish Rooster who lost his mate. This will be a pet. Will you please let me know your availability of hens? Color isn't terribly important to me.

    I've been told that Serama Roos are much quieter than other breeds... I've also read that that's untrue.. Can you please shed some light on this? I'd like a rooster, but I am in an urban area and would like to keep the peace with my neighbors. Thanks!

    Are Chickens Allowed in Indianapolis?

    What about coop distance from house? I'm wanting to get started, but the location I have is very close to the the rear on my house, but at least 50 feet from any entrace or window, so not a hygiene concern. I'd like to make sure I don't get shut down by code enforcement..
