Currently the Temps are around 60 during the day and 30 to 40 at night should I wait to move my broiler chicken to their tractor they are 3 weeks old and almost fully feathered. Or can I move them and put heat lamps in tractor with them
Well I'm two weeks in and my little cornish x's are not so little anymore and my barred rocks are doing great even playing on their roost a little here and there. [/IMG]
I couldn't tell you wrong or right I just read to put something down and sprinkle food on it to help them find their food easier and so they won't eat pine shavings
OK got paper towels down but now all my cornish cross chicks are just laying there I take it they decided a nap was in order or have I already messed up bad!!
Thanks just change it to have two lamps because the one would not get the temp above 80 in brooder. No the totes aren't connected I only plan on the cornish cross to be in it for two weeks tops. I'm going to build a much bigger one for them in my shop just wanted them in the house for first two...
