I find my pet hen Virginia very therapeutic. The way she calmly talks back to me when I hold and pet her in my lap. I love to watch her scratch and scritch in the dirt the way she kicks dirt and debris is so comical, not to mention the dust baths. I bought her from a feed store as a young chick...- debbie cook
