    I got my first egg today! This morning my RIR rooster crowed for the first time then later I went to check on the flock and found the first egg! My RIRs are 17 weeks old. I’m so excited to start getting a steady supply!

    My 12 week RIR rooster, Foghorn. I know the original Foghorn was a white leghorn but he was my favorite cartoon character! Foghorn has 8 Ladies he loves dearly and is growing up with. Four RIRs and 4 Black Stars.
