Hi,
Finally got my chickens. Have 3 month old: Buff Orpingtons hens, 1 RIR sexlink hen, 2 Welsummer hens, 1 (?) Welsummer Too. 3 Polish, 6 Silkies, 3 (3 week old) frizzles. I only want3ed four chickens-LOL. I also have rescue cats and dogs, 9 mini horses, 1 mini donkey (3 are trained to drive) and two large retired big horses. Multi birds (Parrot, Linnies, conures, bourke and caique. I have experience with all BUT the chickens. And an understanding (most of the time) husband, daughter and son-in-law that put up with me. I wanted to free range the chickens, but think we have too many hawks and a neighbor's dog who escapes frequently. So the chickens have two separate large runs. Need one more coop before I can leave the more fragile ones out at night.
