    Who has raised Buff orpingtons before?

    Yes I have 2 buff orphingtons that are either 4 or 5 now. They are pretty friendly, quiet. I had one of them more broody than the other, very good at that and hatching and raising chicks. As older not as many eggs but when young really good eggs layers, large brown.

    Anyone tried Purina’s new high protein feed?

    This definitely helped all the hens get there feathers back from a molt period! Also noticed higher protein helps with more egg production in winter.
