    The run is half covered and half netting on top if that makes sense. I’m in NY so right now it’s warm and we do get rain. I just want something I can clean and or help with the mud/ smell. There’s so much out there it’s overwhelming!

    That is a great point about them thinking the pellets are good. They do eventually swell and turn into a wood dust from what I’ve heard.

    You got it. They were in with the buff orpingtons and wyandottes. Said all pullets but I know nothing is 100%

    So the picture makes the comb look more orange, but it is yellow. This was a pullet almost 4 weeks old now. Does this comb look big or is it me? I’m hoping it’s definitely a female 😂

    Three week old buff Orpington was pecked until bleeding.

    This is the brooder. I took them out for supervised time outside when it was 72 degrees last week. (I live in Ny so it’s still chilly). I’m trying to do everything the right way, but learning as I go.
