If most of the genetics are from rooster than Thats a bad crossing because my local rooster breed are less in body weight and produce less egg and go broody. I need to find the australorp rooster.
Does Anybody have tried Crossing australorp hen with local rooster. I have chicks crossed between australorp and local rooster also rhode island red hen crossed with local rooster. Will the new generation of australorp will be smaller in size and body weight or produce less egg?
your hen is beautiful. My hens egg color is light brown and the egg is smooth. In this picture there are egg of 3 breed hen. small egg with light brown is of that hen and egg with same size but bown color is of rhode island red hen and bigger eggs are of giriraja.
