After the build, I used a solution of steel wool that had been dissolved in vinegar to give the coop an “aged barn look” the trim was actual reclaimed barn wood, but the vinegar/ steel wool gave it a cool look. We are very happy with it...! I selected the breeds to get a cool variety...
