    newly hatched chick not standing after 10 hours of hatching!!

    I just had one who took 24hrs to get up and use it's legs, a little sugar water in an eye dropper perked it up.

    Ceramic top or coil-type stove???? Help me pick a stove!!!! HELP!!!!

    I've had them all but wanted to try out the flat ceramic top the last time we bought a stove ...... I hate it ! The printed design around the burners bubbled so it always like it needs to be cleaned to me. Easy to scratch the surface and that printed design too. -not a fan of this stove.

    Will a single Silkie get picked on by bigger hens?

    my silkie was smart.... have 5 large hens.... they'd go for her but she'd be quiet and move to a corner and stay ... for about a week they outcasted her but slowly they ignored her.

    normal.... you should see my silkie - she has see thru spots from moulting.... cotton balls drifting around everywhere.... your's look fine
