    I tried that with mine because I wanted to give her water in a syringe, but when I got to the third step, she shook her head side to side and wouldn't hold her mouth open. Do you know how I can stop this? Thank you, Demi

    Agreed! I think the best thing to do would be to wait it out a few months to see if they lay eggs. Although, that could depend on if you live in the country or urban areas. Could be a bit of trouble from your neighbours if its urban!

    My white silkie often gets 'blackness' in her hair but it's usually just dirt. You could always use normal saline (0.9%) which is the liquid that people have in their blood. I'm not sure if this would affect their eyes but it should be okay. Good luck!
