He is out on grass daily. Eats well. Feeding a poultry grower ration with added minerals. No injury that I can tell. Legs are straight but seem to be wider set than my others. I would call it a "lumbering" gate. Think of a guy who is 6'6" and weighs 450lbs. I apologize to any one that big, don't...
I have a nearly 2 month old male Pilgrim who has recently started having trouble standing. It seems to be a major effort to get to his feet, and when he does his gate is very labored. He spend a lot of time laying he doesn't eat from his feet. Any thoughts?
Any guess what color this poult might be? It was an egg hatched from a mixed pen, thrown in with some silkie eggs, in a hatching egg purchase. Don't recall there being any red or buff turkeys in the pen. Sorry photos are not great.
ISO Pilgrim goslings or eggs in the New York area. Will travel to Ohio, Pa., or New England states to pick up. Please PM with availability and price. Thank you
What's the earliest spring show in NY? Are there any swaps or sales in early spring? Very new to poultry and I'm looking to get out and get some education first hand. Thanks
I see there is a hatchery that lists Red Chantecler.
I see a lot of information about Buffs. Lots of folks working on the variety. Is anyone breeding or working on the Red beside that hatchery? Any photos? What other colors are being developed? Is anyone breeding Buffs in the northeast? NY/Pa?
I'm looking for breeding quality foundation to get a start for possibly showing. I guess I would be considered waaay upstate. Halfway between Rochester and Syracuse. Eggs or chicks. Either would work.
Looking for a quality silkie breeder in New York. Is anyone familiar with Peekaboo Silkies. I understand she's in NY but don't have an email for her. Thanks
