    Thankyou, confirms what I thought. It seems to happen at moulting which adds up.

    This has happened several times to my peafowl, I'm wondering if anyone has had similar problems. Starts with them being lethargic then the eye becomes inflamed and nasal discharge. Vet prescibed Batril orally and chloramphenicol eye ointment, which has been successful so far but I'm wondering...

    Peachick survived the night and is now eating on it's own and able to stand!!!

    Thanks to everyone who posted on this thread it has given me hope, I have a week old peafowl chick with Wry neck discovered this evening. Following a trip to supermarket at 23.45hrs I have now dosed the chick with vitamin A, C E +Selenium mixed with scrambled egg, we will see what the morning...
