    Post here if you DON'T wash clean-looking eggs

    I never wash eggs I understand it washes away the "bloom" that protects the egg from bacteria entering through the shell. Fortunately my girls only leave eggs in the boxes !

    Well... I'm not a farmer but I'd guess you'd have to say I'm a front and backyarder! We have 1.25 acres and my chickens free range on ours AND the neighbors 1.25!!

    What Age do Chicks start to Roost?

    I have a EE with 2 chicks about 2 1/2 weeks old, and a few days ago, I caught one of the babies trying to get up to the "Big Girls" Roost. With encouragement from Momma. I have some really cute pics on my page is youd like to see the tiny little girls up so high with the "big Girls"
