I recently was informed that I had mites when trying to sell some of my roosters.
Everybody has so far recommended that I use Diatomaceous Earth.
However, after reading some reviews I have gained mixed reviews.
Aye,
I recently received some now (estimated) 8-10 weeks old chicks.
They do not appear to be able to using the port feeder.
At what age can they reach their necks in there and eat?
What can I do to train them to use feeder?
Edit:
For what my chickens and coop look like see my status page...
I got this bird from Meyer Hatchery:
It was the only bird without a leg band and looks like this (yellow):
This is way different from what I normally get elsewhere:
I just wanted to see if this is possible. Never had a yellow Easter Egger.
Aye, I recently ordered one Blue Ameraucana from Meyer hatchery.
It looks like this:
But, this looks different from the provided photo:
Did they send the right bird?
@sekeyslaks Looking more into it I think I made a mistake.
This bird might be the Easter Egger I ordered, not sure how it is possible.
I assumed this was the Easter Egger but it must be the Legbar:
I might make a few other posts. As all my birds don't look right.
I recently ordered a Cream Legbar from Meyer Hatchery.
My shipment came in today and it looks like this (yellow):
This looks significantly different than the photo on their website:
Did they send me the wrong bird?
I can tell this was the Legbar because it has the matching leg band stated...

There is twelve of them all with different ages. The youngest of the flock being about 4 weeks while the oldest being about 6.
The reason I set up these doors is because I wanted to allow the older ones to start integrating.
We live in arizona...
@blackdog043 I've been trying to think of a way to cheaply set up panic doors.
Cardboard, why didn't I think of this. Great article:

About what dimensions do you use for the panic doors?
The lock of my little chicks cage came loose (possibly left open by accident). Some of my small chicks must've kicked their door open.
They all appear to be alive. I think I found them before the big chickens did.
However, they got into some salad and other vegetables I had for the big...
I have a group of 12 chicks aged between ~3 and ~5 weeks old.
My big flock consists of 3 female chickens. They are fairly small:
At what age is it safe to integrate the little chicks with the big chickens?
I plan to enable them to come up to the little chicks pens sometime today or tomorrow so...

To answer some of your questions:
I live in AZ. You can see our weather forecast here: https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/scottsdale-az/85251/april-weather/331798
