Brought my bantam cosette in to clip her nails and she was doing this strange jerking head movement. Her crop felt very full and a bit hard and I wasn’t sure if this movement was her trying to unsuccessfully clear it? She was pooping some but a lot of it was really watery.
Never seen anything...
Thank you so much, I’ve been trying to find ways to keep them cool! So far I’ve been using a mister and giving them watermelon wedges when I get the chance with moderate success; definitely throwing some water bottles in the freezer tonight! Summer hit so fast after those storms none of us got a...
Thanks! Glad to be here :) He wasn’t a fan of me but was so protective and sweet to the girls. Dealt with some over mating since he played favorites, but nothing one of those chicken aprons couldn’t fix. Unfortunately he passed over the winter defending them from a predator that got in during...

Thank you, i really hope that’s it and she’ll be okay overnight. She was fine this morning when I let them out, but was like this when I came out to put them up for the night. So at least a couple hours now
Here are a couple videos. It’s pretty tame compared to earlier; occasionally she’d make this screaming noise when she was trying to breathe. Sounded a lot like a video someone else posted about gapeworm :(
