Keep up the good work and they will eventually decide for themselves
My young flock of eight were very finicky about what they chose to eat
They now are big fans of apples, tomatoes, watermelo, grapes, and so many more
Have fun and enjoy while they are small
👍❤️🙏🇺🇸🐓👌🐔
I originally got three eight week old pullets a few months back for the sustainability aspect of it.
As they got bigger and we still have them plus five more, now nine weeks old chicks, I will have to say it’s for the entertainment value and the distraction of the ugly world around us!!
We enjoy...
Very well written and informative article that hits home right mow
I have my first three big older girls of 5 months and added five more that are now 8 weeks old
They are getting better around each other by the day
We let them free range in the yard and they all seem to get along or at least...
Learned sooo much for my new flocks (one of three that just stared laying from two and my smaller flock of five
They get quite a few of these treats already and I’d like to add my crab innards after I clean them...the big girls go crazy for that ???❤️
We got our first egg today...woohoo
One of our 23 week old today twin Jersey Gems named Pooh, went up into the nesting box in my coop and dropped our first of many!!
Mom was the one to find it and we are gonna all eat it after a good scrambling..lol
Been thinking about naming all my flock with names of herbs I grow in my garden...
Dill
Basil
Oregano
Parsley
Sage
Rosemary
And...yes, Thyme
Last but not least Pooh, for the fertilizer!
