i am getting olive colored eggs and i have gotten one blue egg , will the egg colors change from the birds like for example lay their first egg blue or green and then lay brown ones from then on ?

here in south AL i have 2 really big trees, chickens love them i agree , and some of the old timers come by every year and ask if they can pick some for preserves . i tell them as long as the chickens and the horses dont mind it is fine with me . besides i always get a few jars in return . but...

sounds like you need to get a cat perhaps? or maybe put a chickenin there for a few days if your ducks do not mind . my chickens are just as good of mousers as my cat is i think.

i have 3 pair of them in the same pen (3hens and 3 roos) and they all get along no problems at all, i traded one pair of black ones to one of my buddies for a pair that look like doves . so they wern't all raised together and still no problmes. i also have old english games and the little ones...

well like i said my grandfather said it kept them warmer, ( can be tru can be false) and i agree with the amount of fat , thus being said i do not only feed them corn but add more of it to their scratch feed. and i also plant turnip mustard greens and they eat that all winter also . i apologize...
