    just wanted all to know my girl is all better... thank God... get crop is emptying, Her tail is up, eating, drinking, and laying... so relieved!!!

    @ chicken owner, thanks....does anyone know how much duramycin to use? do I treat the whole flock? I'm treating for sour crop... please help!!

    her tail is still down this morning and had to make her vomit again, Her crop was squishy again, gave her some more sugar water again....sigh... hope she gets better soon... I think she laid an egg this morning and she's still eating and drinking... well keep you posted... still using ACV...

    ok just have her the sugar water and she perked right up looks just like her old self... drinking eating scratching.... do I need to use the duramycin or should I just keep an eye on her for now?

    ok this morning I made her vomit, it was greenish yellow and fish bones came out so I'm pretty sure it must be sour crop...I have duramycin... do I treat my whole bunch with this and how much do I use per  gallon

    Hi all, I'm new to BYC and a fairly new chicken owner. I have 6 girls, no rooster and 1 of the girls has been lethargic, panting, sitting down alot, tail feathers down. I've soaked her backside twice with inserting petroleum jelly in her vent in case of egg binding. I didnt feel anything...
