    I usually sprinkle it on top of the feed when I fill the feeder :)

    The two that I have seem to be the same way,they have been raised with some marans one of the blues is smaller then the rest since she was a day old,I thought I would lose her ,never instigates playing chicken but will ruffle and play back when they do.:D
