    Chicks now in 5th Week....

Unsure why pics are so bad will attempt to get better ones showing color. The Roo has definitely got a more predominate pink pea comb, the pullet almost zero, yes...the black.

    Chicks now in 5th Week....

I am such a proud chicken owner! The babies are now in their 5 week. I don't believe in luck, but blessings...so if I am wrong on the gender of the two 'mutts' please don't burst my bubble to harshly. :D The 4 ISA's are a given, but I've waited, and watched...impatiently.....I might add for...

Thank you, I was just wondering about EE's with a base of black not solid if that makes sense.

Thank you for the reply. Beautiful. Is it just me or are there not many predominate black?

....Regarding EE's. Does anyone have pics to share of the darker color mixes? For example, black being the predominant underlying color

    I can't find it!

Harbor freight carries mesh tarps. We used a 12 X 20 over ours, works great!

I wish you the best of luck in whatever choice you made....the most important was...you made one, though difficult I'm sure. It all boils down to what you will have to do in order to keep both, and if you can accommodate that. Perhaps re homing or trade can be an option for you.

Not trying to be rude, but you already have stated the problem and several answers though none of those are acceptable to you. Pick a priority. IMHO his behavior has been tolerated way to long, if he were mine he'd be in a pot of dumplin's two months ago.

    Need help with chick!

:) The weld on those outdoor panels is more than plenty big enough for a predator to reach in.....probably coon. IMHO.....Hardware cloth what you have like on the top of the brooder box for starters around sides and top and bottom for good measure. I wish you all the luck and love I can send...

Are you able to share some pics of the run they were in and the place where you have them now?
