She still has color coming in, this is our first polish, obviously our first blue, I am calling her blue cause that is what we ordered. I am fine if she is a splash, as long as she is a hen, haha. Now just waiting to see what the other two will end up being. Their little crests are so funny...

I will try to get another pic of her full body out of her cage. Do they darken at all as they age? I am going to be so so so mad at that hatchery if she isn't blue. Ugh. I will still love her, she is a sweetie, but I will not buy from that hatchery again.

the one in the first pic is our white crested blue polish named Lucky that we got from the hatchery, she is the one we know is a hen cause she was sexed. thanks for helping. I hope the other two are hens, or at least one of them.

We have a white crested blue polish we ordered from a hatchery with two other hens that didn't survive the stress of shipping. They were sexed. We didn't want the surviving chick (named Lucky) to be alone, so we went to the feed store and bought two more. Of course they were not sexed, I believe...

thanks for the info, so far our little one's love meal worms and yogurt. The oldest one who is 9mos old will eat applesauce. I put wheat germ on the yogurt also, they love it. So far they are not interested in any veggies, or anything else. But I will keep introducing it. I am for sure going to...

We have a 100w light bulb in our coop for our little chickens, we only have three, they weigh less than a pound and the coop is pretty big for them, compared to what could fit in the coop. We just got the coop two days ago and last night was their first night in it. Needless to say I am a worry...
