    I have a hen who has had a slightly full crop for a bout 5 days. It feels soft and mushy. I force fluids with probiotics/oregano and some corid. As recommended by vet. I can’t get it to empty. She also has yellow slimy runny poop. I really knew what was going on.

    I have kind of a strange question... how long from start to finish should the egg be layed? My 3 older ladies started laying on Sunday. Then yesterday there were 2 eggs. Now 1 of my older is out there making a bunch of squaking noise. I think an egg is coming but not sure.

    Thanks for the info! We are building a chicken tractor and it is almost finished! :) We are going to let them have partial free range time and the other is in the pen. The pen will be moved every 3-4 days so they have new ground if in the pin! Thanks for your info! It was very helpful!
