No problem,’you will be fine. Sitting 12 hours after sitting 72 hours is no diff to the chicks. In my experience most times they show up early. Mine still says arriving 6 PM tomorrow - I already have them home from the post office today.
Maybe I’ve never paid attention to the area under/behind their eyes (is that their ear lobe?) where it is whitish. Is this normal? For some reason looking at my hens just now I wondered if this was usually red. Thanks!
Does not sound like a balanced and nutritious feed for chickens. What is the goal of your feed? Save money? It is hard to beat the nutritional profile of commercially available feeds.
