    I’ve had two of them and they are wonderful dogs. You have to know how to disincline them as they are very independent. They like to dig craters in the yard so they need lots of room.

    They are so fun to watch! Just 2 days in I can almost get them to eat mealworms out of my hand, They back off at about 6 inches. I already knew they would tear the heck out of flowers and beds. They will be moved out onto 1/2 acre once they get used to to the property. We have lots of predators...

    I like your logic. I went through the same thing growing up in the late 50’s. I had all except polio thank god.     Picking up a couple of Plymouth Rock Barred next week.

    I have an Iglu Go Up coop and am looking forward to raising chickens for eggs. I live in Placitas New Mexico in the central mountain chain at about 5800 ft. Joined this group to learn more about caring for these ladies.
